Catch Me If You Can....

Hi Loves,
So i've obviously taken a break from blogging. I lost a lot of interest in writing things for a while. Don't get me wrong I was totally still reading all the fabulous blogs. I've decided it's time to get back to blogging though. The last couple of months haven't been all that exciting until recently.
I actually just got back from a 16 day vacation in Hawaii. You see loves, I went to school in Hawaii for 4 years and I decided it was time to go back and visit a few friends. Well the trip started out fantastic, catching up with a good friend, seeing Maui, and getting some sun. Well then we headed over to Oahu for a couple days to see another friend. Again started out good but then went downhill from there. The first night we were in town we through our friend a surprise Bachelorette party as she's getting married next summer. We did a small one while some of us were together and then next summer she'll have another one.
Now here comes the not so great part. I was told we were going camping on the beach. Mind you, I don't mind camping but I'm the girl who camps in campgrounds with tents and bathrooms. Well this camping was up on the North Shore on the beach, no tents, no bathrooms. I wasn't really dressed for camping either. When we first got there we climbed into the back of the people's truck that we went with and I just thought we were going up the road...Nope we ended up going Mudding. I was in a white shirt and khaki shorts! I don't really like being dirty either. This is how I ended up...
Needless to say I wasn't very thrilled. I just went with it though and tried to be a good sport about it. So after mudding we decided to set up "camp" if you can even call it that. Well I had my new Coach Crossbody Bag with me that had all my stuff in it because we were going to go exploring the next morning. I decided (stupidly) to leave it in the trunk thinking it would be safer than on the beach with a whole bunch of people. Well camping started and the boys tried to build a fire but they sucked and never could get a real fire going. I was not having the best of time so I decided to just lay down. Well it started sprinkling, I said we should go but nobody was agreeing with me so we ended up staying the whole night. The next morning we were up as the sun was rising and decided to get going early. We were loading stuff in the trunk and I noticed my purse was gone, then we realized the window was broken. Someone broke into my friends car and stole my purse and a bag of clothes which had my glasses and contacts in it. Loves, I tell you I literally felt like I was having a heart attack. My chest was tight, I couldn't breathe, and I thought life was over. I luckily had my cell phone and called my parents at home quickly to stop all the cards. The people had used one of the cards at a gas station and then they used my Starbucks card but that was it thankfully. However I had like $150 in there so they got that as well. I was just devistated. Needless to say I will never be leaving a purse anywhere or going camping in Hawaii again. The rest of the week in Oahu kind of sucked because I kept having mental breakdowns over my stupidity of leaving my purse. Later in the week we headed back to Maui and spent the next couple days of my trip just relaxing at the beach and the pool. Here's a couple typical Hawaii pictures that show's the trip wasn't all bad...
Maui Sunset at Shark Pit Beach
Delicious Lava Flow
Relaxing in a Hammock at the Marriott
Unfortunately my trip to Hawaii wasn't the trip I had planned but it was great to take a break from home.
